This sucks.... MEOW!!!!

So Dewey here, nothing new to report, well because Mom and Dad left for Michigan two weeks ago yesterday. We're stuck at Grandma and Grandpa's in the basement until they get back!!!! It feels like forever, I mean we're well fed and stuff, its just kinda cramped in here, its a big cage but I have to share it with Ginger as well. I miss Mom and Dad and so dose she. But I know they'll be back, because they always come back. :-) So yea nothing interesting to report except for the fact that we both managed to get our collars off!!! Grandma didn't put them back on us though. YES! meow!!! We're not alone though Frankie is with us and his Mom Nikki, but they both get out, Nikki will go outside but Frankie has no desire to leave the basement. If we ever got out of the cage I'd probably go crazy from seeing everything up close!!! So I guess that's why Grandma and Grandpa won't let us out... meow :-( Anyway Mom has a picture of Nikki on here. Shes really pretty... meow. I thought there was one of Frankie but I can't find it, He's all white with blue eyes! I've never seen another cat like him before, he likes to play between the bars with us. :-)



Well thats about all the interesting things around here. Hopefully next time, we'll be back home with Mom and Dad!!! I miss them... meow :-( anyway

Little Crazy

Dewey here, meow

Ok so My little sister Ginger is driving me crazy!!!! Shes always attacking me, grooming me, or just running around meowing and acting like a nut. All the while I'm trying to take a nap. I don't know what to do about her. I love her and shes the best cuddlier ever, but sometimes she drives me bonkers. Like this one time, I have pictures for this, anyway this one time Mom's robe had fallen on the floor, now this robe is awesome and black, and fuzzy so it feels great on my fur. But anyway I love to lay and sleep in it like the photo on the right. Now that is comfy and warm and a great place to nap, but then comes along, Ginger and naptime is over. like the following picture.

Yep. I know when she shows up I'm not gonna be relaxing much longer. Even when I'm on the couch she comes up right in the middle of a good nap and starts grooming or even tries to kick me off! Now in the next photo here Shes either A. gonna groom

B. gonna pounce or C. take my spot. I'm gonna go with A. Grooming me. Anyway as you can see from the picture below, today I'm getting a grooming. I'm getting pretty good at calling what shes gonna do to me. I guess the grooming isn't too bad, she cleans in my ears. Then Mom doesn't have to, cuz it hurts when she dose it. meow.

She's ok though, I love Ginger. I would be lonely without her. And shes so darn cute. Sometimes she just needs to cool it though and learn how to be more like a cat, and nap a little longer. meow

I Love the TV!!!

Ok so I know I hardly ever write, But there are so many things for me to do. So the new toy has become my favorite, I've been playing with it for like two weeks straight now. Anyway, that's not what im here to talk to you about today. I wanna talk about another one of my favorite things... the TV!!! So this thing is great, we have a small one, but Mom and Dad got a new one that is huge, as you can see from the picture Mom took. I like it best when there are other animals on the TV, or like in the picture video games that i can chase things around . Sometimes I get Mom and Dad mad when I'm in there way, but its so big I have no idea how little old me can get in the way. hmmmm meow.

Anyway so the smaller TV is good too, because sometimes during the day there is a little scrolly bar at the bottom and I could watch that for hours!!!! its the best. So anyway I also have a little video that Mom took of me attacking the TV, so here's that:

Anyway I think its about time I ran off of here, Mom's getting ready to water the Hibiscus so I might be able to get some glimpses of the outdoors!! MEOW!!

Dewey in the house,

ok so thats the problem, I'm in the house. No one will let me out. The back sliding door is open everynow and then but theres a screen there. I can smell all these wonderfull smells but i can go see anything... it SUCKS!!!

I got out into the garage one time, but that was scary!! I hid under the big green monster[the car] there where stinky things out there, and it was dirty, I didn't know how to get back in the house or get outside. Mom finally came and got me, I don't think she was very happy, Dad woke her up when i ran out. I havnt tried to get out since. The front door is nice, but I don't think I wanna go out that door, it makes a lot of noise. Mom took me out it once when I was little, but she had me on a leash, there where so many things going on, although that was a long time ago now, so I don't really remember. Anyway little sister is calling, its nap time for me and ginger and Dad so mom can work on her paper, whatever that is, meow.

NEW TOY!!!!

New toy whooo hooo, yep! Ginger here.

Mom brought a new toy home for us last night. She just kinda showed up with it. I don't know where it came from*. But it sure is fun! Big brother inspected it first, once I realized it was safe, It became MINE! meow. Anyway So here's a picture of it. It also happens to have a string with a orange ball attached to it. Now that is fun, it makes the bag roll over with me in it, whhhheeee that's fun...meow. It's endless hours of entertainment keep me and big brother amused, actually I need to go check on it now, so here's a few more pictures that Mom took last night.

The Bookshelf

Ginger here,
For those of you that don't know the bookshelf is one of my favorite places. It's dark and cool, and smells funny. I can climb right up behind the chair and slip right into the bookshelf without being seen. Then of course I knock something off and Mom and Dad immediately find me. But that's alright because they don't seem to mind all that much. There's a couple of different spots that I can climb up in as well, they just don't seem to like it when i get on the shelves with all the knick knacks, its like they don't trust me, I'm not gonna knock anything off... *meow* Anyway Mom and Dad seem to think its really really cute when I do this so they take lots of pictures, Well that's not a bad thing because now i can put them on here for your viewing pleasure.





So that's like the best spot ever behind that chair, but as you can see I can still be seen. I also have nice comfy books to lay on. =^-^=

CATNIP!!!!!

Ok so the thing about catnip is.... its awsome what more can i say, here are some pictures to prove it.

Ginger eats some catnip, but I don't think shes as fond of it as I am. :-)
Must clean it off the paws! :-)everything starts to slow down after a few minutes.

Ahhhhhh... feeling good, time for a short nap.
if only you silly humans could understand how wonderful cat nip is. i could go on and on, but i won't because its time for a nap.

The Windowsill

Hi I'm Ginger, we haven't been properly introduced yet. Dewey got to write yesterday, i missed out, i was on a very important cat nap with Dad. Anyway I'm gonna talk about one of my favorite places today... The Windowsill

Where to begin. Its the best place in the world, i can sit and gaze out or nap in front. And sometimes on a good day, Mom and Dad will leave the window open. I can smell the air and hear everything, its amazing. Big brother really likes to sleep in front of the window though, sometimes I have to pounce on him and make him move. He can be a hog sometimes, especially with the food.

Now the windowsill in the front room really isn't a sill. Its actually a big comfy chair-like thing. Both Dewey and I can fit on it. It has a good view of the road and across the street, and you can usually see other critters. Unfortunately Mom and Dad never open that window, I don't know why, but its still my favorite place to gaze out.

The third and final place that's really good for gazing out of the window is in Mom and Dads' room. The bed is right next to the window, so Dewey and I can lay half on the bed and our paws on the sill and look out. Unfortunately although this one is comfy, its still the same view as that of the front room, you can just see a little farther. The best part about this window though is not only that its big, Mom and Dad also open it a lot. Lots of interesting smells come from that side of the house. Sometimes if we're lucky we'll see the big Orange cat that prowls around the house. I have no idea who he is, but he sure likes to show up all the time. Anyway more on him later. Actually its about time for me to chase big brother around some more, so Ill be back later with more of my favorite places.

Easy... I think not

For those of you who think a cats life is easy, you are wrongly mistaken. Its not. There is much, running, meowing, streatching, cleaning, scratching, sleeping, and plenty of tables to climb on. The day usually starts when Mom and Dad get up and feed me. Some days Moms up first some days Dads sleeping on the couch and forgets till 9 am. We usually like to eat around 7 though. Usually we're let out of the back room after that. Then its time to cheack the house and make sure nothing has changed and nothing has gotten in thats not supposed to be there. This usually takes an hour or so. Sometimes if dad lets us out first i go and pounce on mom and wake her up on my rounds.

The next task for the day is to run around like a nut case chasing my sister and her chasing me. This is followed by a short cat nap in the window until around 5:30 or so when Mom and Dad leave to do whatever it is they do in the afternoon time. Usually Ginger and i take this time to nap or gaze out the window until they return around 8 pm usually, at which time we usually get fed dinner. After dinner its time to run around for a few more hourse before settling in on the couch with Mom and Dad as they watch tv or play on this computer thing here. Before Mom and Dad go to sleep they lock us in the back. I still havn't figured out why, or what goes on in the rest of the house when Mom and Dad are asleep, Maybe one day I'll find out, for now, its nap time.
